If there was one body that captured the whole world, it was Kim Kardashian West. But achieving her famous figure was definitely not easy - and it is due to strict diet and exercise.



Kardashian trains his body six days a week and focuses primarily on endurance and core strength. She rarely deviates from her strict diet, all of which helped her get back in shape after two intense pregnancies (her third and fourth children, Chicago and Psalm, were born through a surrogate).

It is therefore no surprise that the aesthetic worker was able to maintain her slender figure - while still carving out her characteristic curves. And like her sister Kourtney Kardashian, KKW is an open book when it comes to sharing her exercise and diet tips.

Diet: The Atkins diet



There is a reason why Kardashian West was able to maintain her figure even after pregnancy, mainly due to her past devotion to the Atkins diet.

The Atkins diet is known to completely eliminate carbohydrates and instead contain large amounts of protein and healthy fats, similar to the Dukan diet reportedly divided by Kate Middleton.

However, after consuming carbs in a cold turkey, Atkins recommends that you re-add them to your diet in small amounts to avoid a complete carbohydrate deficiency.

Diet: vegetarian and low in carbohydrates



Although she lost 70 pounds (about 31 pounds) after each pregnancy on the Atkins diet, Kardashian West said on The View that she had begun to include more carbohydrates in her diet and withdrew from the strict provisions of the Atkins diet.

In 2018, she also resorted to her paid app to dispel thoughts that she completely ignored carbs, and said, "There is a myth that eating carbs is bad, but it's not true!"

Kim also said: "My coach [Alcantara] miles always says that before and after training you should eat simple carbohydrates such as sweet potatoes and low amounts of fat and protein such as chicken. You should also include vegetables in your food because they need them to help break down and effectively absorb proteins, fats and carbohydrates. "


Diet: No processed foods



Melissa Alcantara, Kim's coach, said she came to Kardashian West's house and cleaned up her supplies from anything unhealthy or unnecessarily processed. Some of these products included "vanilla chips, graham crackers and crispy rice,"

Given that Alcantara is responsible for its health regime, it can be said with certainty that KKW owes its merits to a relatively strict diet.


Exercise: strength training



According to Melissa's strict schedule, the Kardashian West exercise routine has changed drastically - the reality star trains six days a week without excuses.

Kim previously said she gets up around 5:30 to work out, and according to E! KKW said E !: "I exercise an hour and a half every day with heavy weights and I don't do much aerobic exercise."

"I've been working really hard with a bodybuilder for a year."

Exercise: lower body exercises



Alcantara shared her fitness plan and Kardashian West with Woman Health, saying she worked out most days and included a plethora of leg and butt exercises - but focused mainly on building muscle through strength training.

They also devote the whole day of the week to physical training, but still make sure that they have all the basics covered.

According to Alcantara: "85 percent of our workouts are strength training and the remaining 15 are cardio. Kim loves strengthening the back of her legs - hamstrings and loot!"


Exercise: discipline



Part of the secret of Kardashian West's training, in addition to her interest in weightlifting, is her reluctance to cancel training or give up (however trivial it may sound).

Alcantara told Women's Health that Kim's "naughty mom" would never cancel it, no matter how early or busy her day was. Alcantara said Kim is "so responsible she will never cancel it - she's the best client and athlete you can have."

Her commitment is impressive, but Alcantara says that once exercise becomes part of your routine, you will never think of canceling it. "Once [exercise] becomes part of your daily routine and your life, it's not something you have to think about, you just have to do it."
