Stand with your feet hip-width apart and step forward with one leg, bending both knees to create a lunge position. Push back up through your front foot and squeeze your glutes together at the top. Repeat on the other side.

Glute Bridges 

Glute Bridges

Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Push through your heels to lift your hips up towards the ceiling, squeezing your glutes together at the top. Lower back down and repeat.


Donkey Kicks 

Donkey Kicks

Start on all fours with your hands directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Lift one leg up behind you, keeping your knee bent, and squeeze your glutes together at the top. Lower back down and repeat on the other side.

Fire Hydrants

Start on all fours with your hands directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Lift one leg out to the side, keeping your knee bent, and squeeze your glutes together at the top. Lower back down and repeat on the other side.


Perform each exercise for 3 sets of 12-15 reps, 3-4 times per week. As you get stronger, you can increase the number of reps or sets, or try adding weights to your exercises to make them more challenging.
